A custom, substantially thicker aluminum frame was designed specifically for the U Series, equipped with heat dissipation ribs. The U v.2 motor also features an extended pole piece to keep the coil under perfect control under high stress. The coil temperature is kept in check via a high-velocity solid pole \/ machined pole channels arrangement and a series of 16 direct air-gap vents in the back
