Pitch Editor

Nectar 3’s Pitch module offers accurate, transparent pitch correction as the first stage of processing in your vocal chain. Automatically detect the pitch register and fix out of tune vocal performances quickly with intelligent key detection powered by Vocal Assistant. Adjust the strength and speed of the correction to dial in subtle correction, or that unique “tuned” sound. When paired with the included Melodyne 4 essential, you’ll be able to get precisely the sound you’re looking for without going through dozens of takes.

Breath Control

The Breath Control module intelligently detects breaths in dialogue or vocal recordings and suppresses them. Removing and reducing breaths in recordings can be a time-consuming process for dialogue editors and music producers alike. Breath Control can help reduce the time spent on repetitive editing without sacrificing the quality of your dialogue or vocal recordings.

Pitch Editor

• Intuitive interface displays target pitch, detected pitch, and the amount of correction in real time with an innovative new display.
• Set the key and type of scale used for pitch detection, which also informs pitches used by the Harmony module. You can even auto-detect the register using Vocal Assistant.
• Control the shape and tone of the pitch correction effect by changing the strength, speed, and formats, and even blending in a dry signal.
