5512-22 + RS12 Subwoofer Installation Bundle

This bundle pairs a 12-inch dual voice coil car subwoofer with a sealed MDF enclosure and the wiring and fasteners needed for installation. The driver handles 400 W RMS and 800 W peak, is rated at dual 2-ohm impedance, and covers 25 Hz to 130 Hz. Its recommended amplifier range is 200 to 400 W RMS. The enclosure is built from 3/4-inch MDF and measures 13.2 inches on each side. It provides 1.0 cu ft gross volume and 0.75 cu ft net volume. Glued and stapled joints, plus silicone along the seams, help limit cabinet movement. The subwoofer's ventilation directs cool air toward the voice coil, and its ribbed T-yoke helps manage heat. Progressive suspension helps control excursion and reduce distortion at higher output. The box includes 12 ft of 14 AWG blue speaker wire, two spade terminals, and ten metal drywall wood screws, giving you the basic materials to mount the driver and run its connection to an amplifier.
