C544 L [Open Box]

The AKG C544 L is a head-worn miniature condenser microphone built for gymnastics, spin, yoga, and other fitness classes where an instructor needs both hands free and a mic that keeps up with the pace. A short boom places the capsule close to the mouth to minimize pop and breathing noise, while a special moisture shield keeps sweat and makeup from clogging the capsule during an active session. A transducer shock mount reduces body noise to a minimum, and the cardioid polar pattern helps the microphone reject sound from the rest of the room. A three-pin mini XLR connector fits all AKG WMS Series body-pack transmitters, and a windscreen is included for additional wind and breath protection. Weighing just 30 grams and finished in matte black, the C544 L is built to disappear on an instructor's head while holding up through class after class.
