The AKG CHM99WH is a hanging condenser microphone module built to pick up music and speech from overhead in houses of worship, conference rooms, and theater stages. Its cardioid polar pattern focuses on the stage or seating area below while rejecting sound from the sides, and a wide pickup angle keeps coverage even in tight or awkward spaces.

A spring steel hanging clamp holds the microphone at a precise angle once it's positioned, and a 33 ft (10 m) cable, specially treated to resist twisting, keeps that alignment steady over time. The attached phantom power adapter connects straight into any standard mixer input running 9 V to 52 V, so setup is plug and play with no extra power supply needed.

Finished in white to blend into bright ceilings and walls, the CHM99WH covers a frequency range of 70 Hz to 18 kHz with a signal-to-noise ratio of 73 dB-A, giving clean pickup of choir vocals, spoken word, and ambient stage sound.
