American DJ ADJ Aria X2 IPC Dual-Band WiFi & Bluetooth DMX Wireless Transceiver

The Aria X2 IPC is a wireless DMX and RDM transceiver for productions and installs that need control data where cable cannot reasonably go. It carries up to 8 universes, 4,096 control channels, over the 2.4 GHz ISM band with a line-of-sight range up to 3,300 feet (1005 meters) in clear conditions.

RDM support is the part working lighting techs notice: you can configure and check the status of connected fixtures from the console instead of climbing to each one. Connection is flexible, either Ethernet with PoE from a network switch or the built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so the transceiver drops into an existing network or stands alone.

PoE also solves the power problem. One Ethernet run carries data and power, so the unit can live in a truss position or above a ceiling with no outlet nearby. The antenna is internal, which means nothing to snap off in a road case and a cleaner look in exposed architectural positions. The metal housing is built for repeated load-ins.

At 1.1 lb and 5.9" x 5.9" x 1.8", it mounts with the included bracket on truss, a wall or a rack shelf. Draw is 12W maximum. It fits touring rigs, houses of worship, corporate ballrooms, museums and retail installs where a wired DMX path would mean cutting into finished walls.
