American DJ Aria X2 TB Rechargeable Wireless DMX Transceiver ADJ

The Aria X2 TB is a wireless DMX transceiver that runs on AC power or its own internal lithium battery, so control data reaches fixtures in positions with no power drop. A full charge takes 4 hours and delivers up to 20 hours of continuous operation, which covers a full festival day or a multi-day install with an overnight top-up.

It handles a single DMX universe and works in either direction, wireless to DMX or DMX to wireless, so the same unit serves as transmitter or receiver depending on where you drop it. Radios cover Sub-GHz (906-924 MHz in the US), Zigbee 2.4 GHz for EU operation and Bluetooth 4.2 BLE, with CSMA interference mitigation and over-the-air updates. Configuration happens on the front panel digital screen and rotary knob, or from the Aria X2 BLE app on a phone.

Connections are built for the field: 5-pin XLR DMX input and output, an SMA antenna connector, and IP65 locking power input and output so units can chain outdoors. The enclosure is IP20 aluminum and metal with M10 and M12 threads plus a safety eyelet for rigging, and rack and wall mount accessories are available.

At 2.7 lb and 8.5" x 6.1" x 1.7" it clamps to truss or drops in a rack. Power draw is 2W. Good fits include architectural facade lighting, parade floats, outdoor weddings, film sets and any fixture position where running both power and data is a non-starter.
