Product Description

The FS Pan Glide is a mounting assembly that sits between a follow spot and its stand and takes the shake out of the pan. It attaches to the Accu Stand Pro FS Stand (FSS300), or any pole measuring 1.38 inches (35mm) in diameter.

Running a follow spot by hand is harder than it looks. Small hand movements translate directly into visible jitter on stage, and an operator tracking a performer for three minutes will show every one of them. The Pan Glide adds a controlled pivot so the fixture swings left and right on a proper mechanism rather than on friction, which produces even movement and holds a position without drift.

The same applies to an ellipsoidal used as a manual special. If the fixture has to move during a show, mounting it on a Pan Glide keeps the shift clean.

The top bolt uses an M14 thread. Aimed at theaters, houses of worship, schools and production companies where an operator works a spot live in front of an audience.
