American DJ ADJ UBL912H 1X40 Linear Diffusion Filter for UBL6H Linear Bar Light

The UBL912H 1X40 is a linear diffusion filter for the ADJ UBL9H and UBL12H 1-meter linear fixtures. It changes the native 17 degree beam to a 1x40 degree spread, widening coverage and softening the edge of the wash. Against a wall or cyc, the wider spread evens out the field close to the fixture, where a narrow beam usually leaves hot spots and visible gaps between individual LEDs. Installation takes seconds: the 40 inch filter slides into the channel across the front of the bar and is held down by the thumbscrew supplied with the fixture, with no tools or extra hardware needed. At 0.7 ounces it adds no meaningful weight to a truss load or road case, and it pulls back out just as fast when you want the tight native beam for uplighting. Worth keeping a set with any UBL9H or UBL12H inventory that gets used for both wall washing and uplighting. Lighting fixture sold separately.
