The Vizi Beam CMY is a hybrid moving head that works as a beam, a spot, and a wash fixture, which cuts the number of units you need to hang for a full look. Light comes from a Philips Platinum 16R MSD discharge lamp at 8000K rated for 1,500 hours, with total power consumption of 380W. CMY color mixing gives continuous color selection rather than fixed steps, so you can match a palette across a rig or fade between hues inside a cue instead of snapping between colors. Two gobo wheels supply pattern options for aerial work and projection, rotating prisms multiply the beam into layered aerial effects, and a frost filter softens output into a wash when you need coverage instead of definition. Motorized zoom and focus set beam size and pattern sharpness from the console, and the head covers 540 degrees of pan and 270 degrees of tilt. Control runs over DMX-512 in 16, 20, or 23 channel modes, with Art-Net and sACN available through an optional interface and wireless control offered as an option.
