Product Description

PolyBrute is a 6-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer with a 61-key velocity and aftertouch keybed, built around morphing between two complete sound states inside a single preset. Turn the Morph knob and every assigned parameter moves from state A to state B, which turns one patch into an evolving performance rather than a fixed sound.

The voice architecture starts with two analog VCOs offering saw, triangle with Metalizer, square with pulse width, sub, linear FM, and hard sync, plus a noise generator that sweeps from rumble to white noise. Two filters shape the result: a 12dB/oct Steiner-Parker with continuous low-pass to notch to high-pass to band-pass morphing and Brute Factor feedback, and a 24dB/oct Ladder filter with distortion. They run in series, parallel, or anywhere in between. Three envelopes with looping and three LFOs feed a 12x32 modulation matrix, so modulation routing takes seconds instead of menu diving.

Performance controls go past keys. Pitch bend, mod wheel, and a ribbon controller sit beside the Morphee touch and pressure sensitive 3D pad, which maps X, Y, and Z axes to any matrix destination. A 64-step polyphonic sequencer records notes, accent, and slide per step with three automation tracks, and both an arpeggiator and a Matrix Arpeggiator are on board. Three stereo digital effects cover modulation, delay, and reverb.

PolyBrute Connect mirrors the entire front panel as a Mac and PC app and a plugin, with bi-directional editing and patch management for 768 preset slots. The aluminum chassis with walnut trim suits a studio centerpiece or a stage rig.

Features

    • Two Sounds In One Preset

The Morph knob moves every assigned parameter between states A and B, so a single patch can travel from a soft pad to a hard lead mid-phrase.

    • Dual Filter Character

A 12dB Steiner-Parker with Brute Factor feedback and a 24dB Ladder with distortion run in series, parallel, or blended for tones from clean to aggressive.

    • Expression Beyond The Keys

The Morphee 3D pad reads X, Y, and Z pressure, and the ribbon controller adds glides, both routable to any destination in the modulation matrix.

    • Routing Without Menus

A 12x32 modulation matrix connects three envelopes, three LFOs, and every controller to dozens of destinations from the front panel in a few button presses.

    • Studio Integration That Sticks

PolyBrute Connect mirrors the full panel in a Mac, PC, or plugin window, syncing edits both ways and organizing all 768 preset slots.
