Product Description

The ASB6112 puts serious low end into a cabinet compact enough to ground-stack under a stage lip or hang alongside a cluster. Inside the front-loaded, vented enclosure sits JBL's 2263H 12" woofer, a dual voice coil, dual gap design with a neodymium magnet that keeps the weight to 36.0 lb while handling 1000W continuous and 4000W peak. A large vent area lets it reach 126 dB continuous (132 dB peak) with low distortion, and response extends down to 35 Hz at -10 dB, giving kick drums, bass lines, and film effects real weight in theaters, auditoriums, worship spaces, and clubs.

Installers get plenty of options. Sixteen M10 threaded points, four each on the top, bottom, and sides, let you fly it in stand-alone arrays or alongside other AE Series models, or simply set it on the floor. An FIR tuning set matches its phase profile to JBL full-range models, so the sub blends with your tops through the crossover instead of working against them. NL4 Speakon and covered barrier strip terminals are wired in parallel for easy loop-through to a second cabinet.

The cabinet is built for heavy use, with 16 mm 11-ply exterior grade birch plywood, internal bracing, and a rugged black DuraFlex finish. A powder-coated 14-gauge steel grille backed with acoustically transparent foam protects the cone, and Mil-Std 810 and IP-x3 ratings let it hold up in sports facilities, dance clubs, themed entertainment venues, and other demanding installs.

Features

    • Deep, Controlled Low End

The 12" 2263H woofer pairs dual voice coils with a dual gap neodymium motor, reaching down to 35 Hz with low distortion for punchy kick drums and full bass lines.

    • High Output From a Small Box

Rated for 1000W continuous and 4000W peak, it reaches 126 dB continuous and 132 dB peak, filling auditoriums and dance clubs without a wall of cabinets.

    • Blends With Your Tops

An FIR tuning set matches the phase profile to JBL full-range models, so the sub and mains combine cleanly through the crossover region instead of cancelling out.

    • Fly It or Stack It

Sixteen M10 threaded points across the top, bottom, and sides let you suspend it in stand-alone arrays, pair it with AE Series models, or ground-stack it.

    • Built for Demanding Venues

An 11-ply birch plywood cabinet, rugged DuraFlex finish, and powder-coated 14-gauge steel grille meet Mil-Std 810 and IP-x3 for long service life.
