Product Description
Chassis geometry positions the platter, spindle, and tonearm for accurate lateral tracking with a maximum tracking error angle under 2 degrees. The J-shaped aluminum tonearm uses a dual-axis gimbal with precision ball bearings, and the AT-VM95E BK cartridge with 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus arrives pre-mounted on the lightweight AT-LT10 headshell.
The deck suits listeners who plan to experiment. Adjustable VTA and the included 16 g subcounterweight accept cartridge and headshell combinations from 14.0 to 23.5 g, and an optional 32 g subcounterweight extends that to 28.5 g. The stylus swaps with any VM95 Series replacement. A built-in switchable phono preamp handles MM or MC cartridges, so the LP7X connects to a phono input, a line input, or a powered speaker set.
An optical speed sensor holds 33-1/3 or 45 RPM. A detachable RCA cable with ground, 45 RPM adapter, and removable dust cover are included.
Features
-
Quiet By Design
A 40 mm MDF plinth, 20 mm acrylic platter, and rubber-isolated motor keep resonance and mechanical noise out of the groove during playback.
-
Accurate Tracking
Chassis and tonearm geometry hold the maximum tracking error angle under 2 degrees, and the dual-axis gimbal tonearm keeps the stylus settled in the groove.
-
Room To Upgrade
Adjustable VTA and the 16 g subcounterweight accept cartridge and headshell combinations from 14.0 to 23.5 g, so you can change styli or cartridges later.
-
Consistent Speed
An optical sensor monitors the DC servo motor and holds 33-1/3 or 45 RPM, keeping wow and flutter below 0.1% at 3 kHz.
-
Connects To Any System
The switchable phono preamp outputs MM or MC phono level or line level, so the deck works with receivers, interfaces, and powered speakers.
