Audio Technica AT2035 Side Address Cardioid Condenser Studio Microphone/Mic+Case

The AT2035 is a side-address cardioid condenser microphone for home studios, project rooms, and live stages. Its large diaphragm captures vocals and acoustic guitar with natural detail and a noise floor of 12 dB SPL, low enough to record quiet sources without hiss creeping into the track.

Two switches handle problem sources. The 80 Hz high-pass filter cuts rumble from traffic, HVAC, and stage vibration while leaving vocal body intact. The 10 dB pad raises maximum input to 158 dB SPL, so the mic holds together in front of a guitar cabinet, a snare, or a loud singer.

The cardioid pattern rejects sound from the sides and rear, which improves isolation when tracking two performers in one room or when a monitor wedge sits nearby onstage. Frequency response runs 20-20,000 Hz, and surface-mount electronics keep performance consistent from unit to unit.

The included AT8458 shock mount isolates the capsule from floor and stand vibration and threads onto any 5/8 inch-27 stand, with a 3/8 inch-16 adapter for other hardware. A soft pouch protects the mic between sessions.

Phantom power of 11-52V DC comes from any standard interface, mixer, or preamp. Use it for lead vocals, voiceover, podcast tracking, acoustic guitar, piano, and drum overheads.
