AT2050 + DMS40 Broad

This bundle pairs the Audio-Technica AT2050 multi-pattern condenser microphone with the Rockville DMS40 desktop boom arm, giving a podcast or broadcast setup a microphone that adapts to the source and an arm that puts it exactly where it's needed. The AT2050 switches between cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-eight polar patterns, useful for a solo host, a two-person interview across a desk, or capturing room ambience when needed, and its dual gold-vaporized diaphragms are aged for consistent performance over years of use. A switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter and 10 dB pad keep the signal clean on loud voices, and a shock mount and pouch ship with the mic. The DMS40 arm extends up to 40 inches with a 20-inch-plus-20-inch articulating design, so the mic can swing from a stored position off to the side into place in front of a host without a stand cluttering the desk. A C-shape desk clamp made of aluminum alloy fits desks under 2 inches thick, and internal springs keep the arm's movement quiet during a live recording. Together, the mic and arm give a podcast desk both source flexibility and clean, adjustable positioning.
