Product Description

The ATM350D pairs the ATM350a cardioid condenser microphone with a UniMount system built for drums. The AT8491D drum mount uses a spring-loaded mechanism that clamps to a drum lug without blocking your ability to tune the lug, and it absorbs shock so stick hits on the shell do not travel into the capsule.

The AT8490 5" gooseneck is stiff enough to hold its position through aggressive playing, so the mic stays where you set it from soundcheck to the last song. Because the whole assembly rides on the drum, you clear a mic stand from the stage and keep the kit visually clean.

The ATM350a itself handles up to 159 dB SPL with a 40 Hz to 20 kHz response, capturing a snare or tom with clarity and balance at close range. Its cardioid pattern reduces side and rear pickup, and the in-line power module carries a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter to cut rumble and low-frequency stage noise. Interchangeable elements are available for hypercardioid and omnidirectional patterns.

An AT8468 violin mount with hook-and-loop fastener adds a second mounting option, and a protective carrying case holds the system between gigs. The ATM350D runs on 11 to 52V DC phantom power.

Features

    • Mounts To The Drum

The AT8491D spring-loaded mount clamps to a drum lug and still lets you tune the lug, clearing a mic stand from a crowded stage.

    • Stays Where You Put It

The AT8490 5" gooseneck is rigid enough to hold its shape through aggressive playing, so placement stays consistent from soundcheck onward.

    • Takes The Volume

The ATM350a condenser handles up to 159 dB SPL with a 40 Hz to 20 kHz response, staying clear and balanced inches from a snare or tom.

    • Control At The Module

A switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter on the in-line power module cuts rumble and low-frequency stage noise before it reaches the console.

    • More Than Drums

The included AT8468 violin mount plus available hypercardioid and omnidirectional elements let the same microphone move to strings and other instruments as your needs change.
