Audio Technica ATW-3212/C510DE2 3000 Wireless Handheld Microphone+Mic Receiver

The Audio-Technica ATW-3212/C510DE2 is a UHF wireless handheld system made up of the ATW-R3210 True Diversity receiver, the ATW-T3202 handheld transmitter, and the ATW-C510 dynamic cardioid capsule. It fits lead vocals, house-of-worship speaking, corporate presentations, and rental inventory where one handheld has to work in a lot of different rooms.

A 60 MHz tuning range across band DE2 (Band DE2: 470.125 to 529.975 MHz) gives you room to work around local TV and wireless traffic, with 40 channels per band for multi-system rigs and an operating range up to 100 m (328'). Frequency scan finds open air on the receiver and IR sync pushes that frequency to the transmitter in seconds. Store a backup frequency and one press of the transmitter's multifunction button moves both units there if interference turns up mid-show.

The ATW-C510 capsule is a dynamic cardioid element with 90 - 12,000 Hz response and an industry-standard thread, so you can swap in other Audio-Technica capsules as the source changes. The ATW-T3202 transmitter uses a metal housing with low handling noise, runs up to 9 hours on two AA batteries, and has charging terminals for the ATW-CHG3 and networkable ATW-CHG3N docks (sold separately) to recharge NiMH cells. OLED screens on both units read out frequency, level, and battery.

At the rack, True Diversity reception cuts dropouts, Auto Squelch adjusts itself to hold range, and the dual-mode display switches between a standard view and a performance metering view. Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" outputs, antenna power for in-line RF devices, and a ground-lift switch cover portable racks and permanent installs alike.
