Product Description
The cardioid condenser microphone keeps the pickup focused on the broadcaster's voice even in loud rooms, and its response is tuned for clear, articulate reproduction. The sleek capsule stays visually low profile on camera while feeding a detailed signal to the console.
The microphone sits at the end of a rigid boom with a flexible gooseneck section, so you bend it into position once and it stays there through the shift. The boom swivels forward and back, letting you wear the mic on the left or right depending on your booth layout or which side your co-host sits on. Key metal components carry the load at the stress points, which is what keeps a headset alive through years of travel.
Comfort holds up over long broadcasts. Memory foam earpads and headband spread pressure instead of concentrating it, and both detach for replacement when they wear. Total weight is 8.5 oz (240 g). A low-impedance 38 ohm design pulls high output from any headphone amp, including camera and beltpack outputs that struggle with higher-impedance headphones. The detachable 3.0 m (9.8') cable terminates in a 4-pin XLRF-type connector, and a pouch, three windscreens, and a cable clip are included.
Features
-
Monitoring You Can Trust
The same 45 mm large-aperture drivers used in ATH-M60x pro headphones give you an accurate program feed instead of a thin talkback signal.
-
Voice First, Room Second
The cardioid condenser mic keeps pickup focused on your voice in loud rooms and reproduces it with a clear, articulate quality on air.
-
Set The Boom And Forget It
A rigid boom with a flexible gooseneck section bends into position and stays there, and it swivels so the mic can sit on either side.
-
Comfortable Across A Long Shift
Memory foam earpads and headband spread pressure over hours of coverage, and both detach so you can replace them when they pack down.
-
High Output From Any Source
A 38 ohm low-impedance design pulls a strong level from camera outputs, beltpacks, and consoles that struggle to power stiffer headphones.
