AWC129-BK

The AWC129 is an all-weather 2-way coaxial loudspeaker built for outdoor and high-humidity venues where speech has to be understood and music still has to sound full. A 12" Kevlar-reinforced woofer with a 3" voice coil shares a single axis with a 1" exit compression driver, so highs and lows leave the cabinet from the same point and coverage holds at a consistent 90° x 90° across the listening area. Rated at 400W continuous (1600W peak) with 96 dB sensitivity, it reaches 122 dB max SPL, enough to cover grandstands, pool decks, and midways without stacking extra boxes.

The cabinet is made for weather. An IP56 rating, Mil Spec 810 testing for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV, and a three-layer powder-coated steel grille backed with foam and poly mesh let it live outside at racetracks, water parks, fairgrounds, and on cruise ship decks. A gland nut on the covered terminal compartment seals around round-jacketed cable to keep water off the connections, and SonicGuard overload protection looks after the compression driver when levels run hot.

Wiring is flexible: run it direct at 8 ohms from an amplifier, or use the built-in transformer to tap it at 200W, 100W, 50W, or 25W on a 70V line (200W, 100W, or 50W on 100V) for distributed paging and background music systems. The matching black U-bracket is included and bolts to two M10 points, with an M6 safety point on the back panel, so you can hang it from a pole, truss, or wall as soon as it arrives. At 35 lb (41.5 lb with the bracket), it suits stadiums, skating rinks, themed attractions, and indoor venues that need the same durability.
