AWC82

The AWC82 is built for sound systems that live outdoors. This compact 2-way coaxial speaker pairs an 8" Kevlar-reinforced woofer with a 1" exit compression HF unit on a single axis, giving clear speech and full-range music from one weatherproof cabinet. It handles 250W of continuous pink noise, and 94 dB sensitivity lets it reach 118 dB (124 dB peak) at 1m, so announcements cut through crowd noise on pool decks, patios, stadium concourses, and theme park walkways.

The built-in multi-tap transformer gives you options on the install. Run it on a 70V line at 200W, 100W, 50W, or 25W, on a 100V line at 200W, 100W, or 50W, or bypass the transformer and run it direct at 8 Ohms. A 120° x 120° pattern spreads sound evenly across wide areas, so fewer cabinets can cover the same space. A high-slope 1.8 kHz crossover keeps coverage consistent through the midrange, and SonicGuard overload protection looks after the HF section when the system gets pushed.

The cabinet is made to take years of sun, rain, and salt air. It carries an IP56 rating, exceeds Mil-Spec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV, and passes ASTM G85 acid-air/salt-spray testing. The heavily braced ABS and glass enclosure sits behind a three-layer, zinc-rich powder-coated steel grille, and a gland-nut terminal cover seals around round-jacketed cable. The included gray U-bracket attaches at two M10 points, with an M6 secondary safety point on the back panel.
