EC-V Ethernet Controller with Volume Control - White

The BSS Soundweb Contrio EC-V is an Ethernet wall controller built for Harman HiQnet installations, putting volume, mute, and preset control for BSS Audio Soundweb London and Crown DCi amplifier systems onto a single white wall plate. A programmable push/rotary encoder handles two jobs at once: rotate it for continuous parameter control like volume, or press it for a binary action such as mute or instant preset recall. Around that encoder sits a multicolor backlit ring capable of eight colors at adjustable intensity, which runs as a bouncing audio meter during normal use and switches to a temporary readout, a volume level when the encoder turns, or a red/green mute indicator when it's pressed.

Setup runs through HiQnet Audio Architect, where drag-and-drop configuration replaces manual programming, and the unit draws both power and control data over its single Ethernet port via PoE, so no separate power run is needed. A sleep function dims the LEDs after a period of inactivity to keep dim rooms distraction free, waking the moment someone touches it, and remote lock/unlock support lets other control systems restrict access when needed. Built in a single-gang footprint available in US Decora or EU form factor, the EC-V fits standard wall boxes in conference rooms, houses of worship, and commercial AV spaces already running on HiQnet.
