U10-A 1/4” Instrument Cable With USB-A Interface

The CAD Audio U10-A is an instrument cable with a USB-A interface built into the connector, so a guitar, bass or keyboard plugs straight into a computer and records with no audio interface in between. One end takes any 1/4” instrument output, the other goes into a USB-A port. There are no drivers to install and no bulky hardware to power, position or carry. An embedded A/D converter with audio signal boost handles conversion inside the cable at 16-bit, 48kHz resolution, matching the sample rate used by most video, podcast and DAW projects. Frequency response runs 20Hz to 19kHz with -76dB THD+N, 83dB signal to noise and 80dB dynamic range, enough headroom for clean scratch tracks, practice recording, remote lessons and songwriting demos. At 9.8’ (3.0m) the cable gives real room to move: you can sit back from the desk with a guitar, stand at a keyboard across the room, or reach a laptop set up for a lesson without dragging your amp along.
