CDX1-1445 8 Ohm

The Celestion CDX1-1445 is a 1-inch exit compression driver for the high-frequency section of pro audio PA cabinets. It handles 40W continuous power and puts out 106dB sensitivity, so it stays loud and clear on top of a 2-way box without a large amplifier channel behind it. A single-piece PETP diaphragm and surround keeps moving mass low, which shows up as crisp cymbals and clear consonants across a 1,500Hz to 20,000Hz range. The diaphragm is integrated with the rear cover, so a repair kit swap is a quick job instead of a full teardown, and a matching kit is available in both 8 Ohm and 16 Ohm. The ferrite motor and 35mm copper clad aluminium voice coil hold total weight to 2.2 lb, which counts when you are lifting tops onto poles for a mobile gig. Bolt fitting uses 4 x M6 holes on a 76mm PCD, matching common 1-inch throat horns including the H1-9040P and H1-7050. It suits cabinet builders speccing an HF driver, repair shops replacing a blown unit, and portable PA rigs for schools, bars, and houses of worship. Recommended minimum crossover is 2,200Hz at 12dB per octave.
