G10 Vintage

The Celestion G10 Vintage is a 10-inch guitar speaker with real attitude. It uses a powerful ceramic magnet and the same voice coil design as the Vintage 30, giving it 60W power handling in a 10-inch frame, along with 97dB sensitivity and a 100Hz to 5,500Hz range. The result is the fast response you expect from a 10 combined with the strong, creamy vocal character usually associated with a 12. That combination makes it the right call for adding depth to a hollow-sounding amp, or for players who want humbucker-style girth out of single-coil pickups. Use one on its own to add vocal warmth to a small valve combo, or run four in a cabinet for a weightier attack that stays lively rather than sluggish. The 60W rating also means it will sit comfortably behind higher-powered amps where 30W 10s would struggle. A 1.75-inch round copper voice coil, 0.88kg ceramic magnet, and pressed steel chassis bring the unit to 5.3 lb with 104mm overall depth. Cut-out diameter is 229mm with four mounting holes on a 245mm PCD.
