G12H Anniversary 8 Ohm [Open Box]

Originally released to mark Celestion's 70th anniversary, the G12H Anniversary is a 12-inch guitar speaker built to recreate the aggressive, classic sound of 60s and 70s rock. Rated at 30W with an 8 ohm impedance and 100dB sensitivity, it produces a strong, assertive low end paired with powerful low-mids, letting it cut through a mix even in a dense band setting. The upper mid-range carries an attacking character, while the top end stays cool rather than harsh, giving the speaker a balance suited to hard-edged single notes as well as full chord work. Used on its own in a combo, the G12H Anniversary provides real attitude to softer amp tones and cuts through loud stage volumes without needing extra gain. Loaded in quartets inside a 4x12 cabinet, it becomes a favorite among boutique amp builders and players chasing that specific era's rock tone. It also pairs well with a Celestion Blue or Gold in a mixed cabinet, where the ceramic G12H's attitude complements the chime of an Alnico speaker for a fuller, more layered overall sound. A ceramic magnet and pressed steel chassis keep the build in line with Celestion's other vintage guitar speakers, and a 1.42kg magnet structure contributes to the speaker's overall 4.7kg weight, giving it real heft consistent with its power handling.
