Chauvet DJ DATASTREAM4 Datastream 1 - 4 Optical Splitter

Data Stream 4 is a universal DMX-512 optical splitter that takes one incoming DMX line and distributes it to four separate outputs, plus a thru port for linking additional splitters. Every input and output is available in both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR, so older and newer fixtures run from the same box without adapters. Electrical isolation between the input and the outputs keeps a short or a damaged cable on one branch from reaching your console or the other three runs. That protection matters most in rental and mobile work, where cables take abuse and there is no time to troubleshoot mid-show. Long daisy chains from a single console output lose signal integrity as fixture counts climb, which shows up as flicker and missed cues at the far end of the line. Splitting the run into four shorter, isolated branches keeps data clean across the entire rig. The 1-space (1U) rack chassis drops into any standard rack or road case, and the auto-switching 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz supply runs on domestic and international power without a voltage switch. Data Stream 4 fits mobile DJs expanding past a handful of fixtures, install techs wiring clubs and houses of worship, and production crews feeding DMX to multiple truss positions. At 5.8 lb it travels in a case as easily as it lives in a permanent rack.
