EZBeam Q3 ILS does two jobs from one battery-powered housing: it works as a wall accent light and as an effect light. Three quad-color RGBA LED pods each throw a 16 degree beam, and together they cover 24 degrees, so you can aim tight beams up a wall for graphic patterns or spread them for a broader look. A 180 degree tilt range sets the aim without moving the fixture, and combining multiple units builds larger wall art effects across a room. Battery power runs up to 9 hours with all colors on and up to 20 hours on a single color, recharging in 5 hours, which means no power drops to run and no cable taped across a floor. There are no moving parts, so the fixture is completely silent, and that is the deciding factor for upscale receptions, galas, and corporate dinners where fixture noise carries. ILS compatibility syncs the unit with other ILS fixtures for coordinated shows without a console, D-Fi USB adds wireless DMX or lead/follow control, and the optional IRC-6 remote handles non-DMX operation. Six, 9, 14, or 17 channel DMX modes give you control depth when you want it. Sound-activated and automated programs cover everything else. At 7.6 lb it travels easily and sets up in seconds.
