Chauvet DJ SlimPAR Q12 ILS RGBA LED D-Fi USB DMX Par Can Party/Stage Wash Light

SlimPAR Q12 ILS is a low-profile, high-output wash light with 12 quad-color RGBA LEDs at 6 W each. The amber emitter is the reason to choose quad-color over RGB: it produces warm, natural-looking color temperatures and richer ambers and golds, which is what most wedding and corporate uplighting actually calls for.

Output measures 2,684 lux at 2 m through a 17° beam angle and 29° field angle. That is tight enough to throw a clean column of color up a tall wall rather than spilling across the ceiling.

ILS compatibility is the headline control feature, tying this par into coordinated shows with other ILS fixture types without deep programming. Beyond that, it takes 4 or 9 DMX channels over 3-pin XLR, supports D-Fi USB for wireless DMX, and reaches RGBA color mixing and static colors directly at the fixture with no DMX connected. The optional IRC-6 remote handles colors and programs from across the room.

Flicker-free operation makes it dependable for video work. Multiple user-configurable settings extend standalone use, and power linking chains 10 units at 120 V or 18 at 230 V, so a ballroom perimeter can run from a couple of outlets.

At 3.6 lb the fixture fits inside sticks of TRUSST and packs into the CHS-30 VIP gear bag. Well suited to wedding uplighting, corporate events, houses of worship, small stages and mobile DJ rigs.
