Control 412C/T

The Control 412C/T is a 3" full-range ceiling speaker from the Control 400 Standard Coverage Series, built for background music and paging in offices, retail stores, restaurants, hotel lobbies, classrooms, and conference rooms. Its 76 mm (3 in) paper cone driver sits in an integrated back can that fits most ceiling plenum spaces, and a 160° conical coverage pattern spreads sound wide, so fewer speakers can cover a room evenly. Power handling is rated at 30 W (120 W peak) for 2 hours and 20 W (80 W peak) for 100 hours, with 84 dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 99 dB continuous (105 dB peak).

Wiring is flexible. A built-in multi-tap transformer runs on 70V lines (15 W, 7.5 W, 3.8 W, 1.9 W) or 100V lines (15 W, 7.5 W, 3.8 W), and an 8 ohm direct input covers low-impedance systems. Installers get a terminal cover with both top and side cable entry, plus captive dogears that grip a wide range of ceiling thicknesses for faster, repeatable installs. The speaker is IP33 rated and listed for use in air handling spaces per UL 2043. The full-face magnetic grille comes in white and can be painted to match the ceiling, and its safety tether mounts right into the baffle. Optional black round and white square grilles, a weather grille, and new construction, mud-ring, and tile rail brackets are available for other installs.
