Control 416C/T

The Control 416C/T is a 6.5" two-way coaxial ceiling speaker from the Control 400 Standard Coverage Series, built for background music and paging in restaurants, retail stores, hotel lobbies, conference rooms, and houses of worship. A 6.5" paper cone woofer and a coaxially mounted 0.75" soft-dome tweeter cover 61 Hz to 20 kHz, so music keeps its low end while announcements stay easy to understand. Rated for 75W continuous (300W peak) with 89 dB sensitivity and a 108 dB maximum SPL, it has the output for high ceilings and busy floors, and the 120° conical pattern spreads sound evenly instead of leaving hot spots under each speaker.

It also fits the system you already run. The built-in multi-tap transformer connects to 70V lines at 30W, 15W, 7.5W, or 3.8W and 100V lines at 30W, 15W, or 7.5W, while the 8 ohm direct input works with low-impedance amplifiers for smaller zones. The integrated back can is listed for air handling plenum spaces per UL 2043 and carries an IP33 rating. Installers get top and side cable entry on the terminal cover, plus captive dogears that grip a wide range of ceiling thicknesses, which cuts install time and keeps every speaker on a project mounted the same way. The full-face magnetic grille ships in white, takes paint to match the ceiling, and attaches with a safety tether that mounts into the baffle.
