Control 424C/T Pair + RCS80-1 Amplifier

This bundle gives retail stores, offices, waiting rooms, and conference rooms a complete 70V ceiling sound system in one order: a pair of JBL Control 424C/T 4" coaxial ceiling speakers and the Rockville RCS80-1 60W commercial amplifier. Each speaker pairs a 4" woofer with a 0.75" soft-dome tweeter and uses CRBI technology to spread sound evenly across a 130° conical pattern. That wide, consistent coverage cuts down on loud spots under each speaker and quiet spots between them, so a room often needs fewer speakers to sound full. The RCS80-1 handles every source. Stream from a phone over Bluetooth, play files from USB or SD (up to 32GB), tune the built-in FM radio, or connect two RCA AUX sources, while two mic inputs cover paging, announcements, and presentations. Separate volume knobs for mics, MP3, and line inputs, plus bass and treble controls, let staff set levels and tone by hand.

Each Control 424C/T has a built-in multi-tap transformer with 70V taps at 30W, 15W, 7.5W, and 3.7W. Run both speakers at 30W to use the full 60W RMS from the amp, or drop to 15W each and leave room to add more speakers to the same line later. 70V wiring handles long cable runs without signal loss or impedance math. Installation is quick to repeat: terminal covers with captive hand-screws go on without tools, cables enter from the top or side, and captive dogears grip a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The integrated back can fits most plenum spaces and is listed to UL 2043 for air handling spaces. The white magnetic grilles can be painted to match the ceiling, and the amplifier mounts in a rack with the included ears.
