XLS1002 700W DJ/PA Power Amplifier with DSP

The Crown XLS1002 is a 700W Class D power amplifier built around Crown's DriveCore technology, delivering serious output at just 8.6 lb. It puts out 350W per channel at 4 ohms, 550W per channel at 2 ohms, or up to 1100W bridged into a 4-ohm load, giving DJs and touring musicians PA-level power without the weight of a traditional amp. Built-in DSP adds a band-pass filter per channel and an integrated PureBand crossover system, so system tuning happens inside the amp instead of through outboard processing.

XLR, 1/4 inch, and RCA inputs cover nearly any mixer or console connection, and selectable input sensitivity between 1.4Vrms and 0.775Vrms lets the amp reach full power regardless of source level. Peakx limiters protect connected speakers at high output, a remote power trigger allows the amp to switch on with the rest of a rig, and a lockable menu keeps settings from changing by accident during a show. Forced-air cooling fans manage heat during long sets, and a sleep mode setting powers the amp down automatically after a set period of inactivity.
