XTi4002 2400W 2-Channel Power Amplifier with DSP

The Crown XTi4002 is a 2400W two-channel power amplifier with a full onboard DSP suite, built for touring engineers who want system processing without an outboard rack. It delivers 1200W per channel at 4 ohms or up to 3200W bridged into a 4-ohm load, with 6 parametric input filters and 8 parametric output filters per channel, each offering plus or minus 15 dB of boost or cut. Highpass and lowpass crossover filters run Butterworth slopes from 6 to 24 dB per octave or Linkwitz-Riley slopes at 24 or 48 dB per octave, giving an engineer real control over how a system is divided between drivers.

A subharmonic synthesizer generates a new signal one octave below the input's low end and blends it back in, adding low-frequency weight without a separate processor, and the Peakx Plus limiter puts threshold, attack, and release directly in the user's hands. Fifty total presets, forty-nine of them user-definable, let a rig save and recall tuned settings show to show. Cast-aluminum handles and a steel chassis handle daily load-in and load-out, and three user-selectable fan modes match cooling behavior to the venue. XLR inputs, Speakon and binding post outputs, and a USB port for HiQnet network control round out the connections.
