Product Description

The CSA140Z is a single-channel 40W commercial amplifier built for background music and paging in retail stores, restaurants, offices, and waiting rooms. Built-in 70V and 100V outputs let it power a distributed ceiling or wall speaker line straight out of the box, with no external transformer needed. Crown DriveCore technology replaces up to 500 discrete parts with a single chip, so there is less to fail and the amp stays reliable through long business hours.

Its fanless 1U chassis runs silent and takes up a single rack space, and the included rack mounting kit gets it into an equipment rack without a separate purchase. An RJ45 port connects to a JBL CSR-V in-wall volume control over standard Ethernet cable, putting level adjustments on the wall where staff can reach them. The universal power supply accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, and illuminated rings around the front-panel knobs make settings easy to read in a dim AV closet. Energy Star certification and a sleep mode that can be disabled for always-on installs help keep running costs down across a full day of operation.
