CSM28

The CSM28 is an 8-input, 2-channel commercial mixer built for background music, paging, and announcements in schools, hospitals, restaurants, retail stores, and fitness facilities. It handles mic, line, and consumer sources in one fanless 1U chassis, so a single rack space covers the music feed, the front desk mic, and the paging station at the same time.

Inputs connect through Euro-block mic/line terminals and unbalanced RCA jacks, which means a commercial microphone and a phone, media player, or streamer can share the same mixer without adapters. 27VDC phantom power runs condenser mics directly. Priority muting and VOX ducking automatically drop the music when someone speaks, so announcements cut through without anyone reaching for a fader. Independent bass and treble controls let you tune the sound to the room, and illuminated control rings make settings easy to read in a dim equipment closet.

For wall-mounted volume control, the CSM28 works with JBL CSR-V in-wall controllers over standard Ethernet cable via RJ45 connectors, letting staff adjust levels from the floor instead of the rack. A universal power supply accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, and the fanless design runs silently in spaces where equipment noise would be noticed.
