CSMA280 + (8) WET-5B Black Wall Speaker System

Outfitting a restaurant patio, pool deck, or retail floor with background music and paging takes an amplifier and speakers matched for a 70V line and built to handle weather. This package brings the full system together: one JBL CSMA280 mixer amplifier and eight Rockville WET-5B 5.25" indoor/outdoor wall speakers, all in a black finish that sits cleanly against dark walls, beams, and covered patio ceilings.

The CSMA280 delivers 2 x 80W and powers 70V or 100V lines directly through its built-in Hi-Z transformer, so long speaker runs wire straight to the amp with no extra hardware. Put four speakers on each channel to run two zones, such as an indoor dining room and an outdoor patio, each with its own volume, bass, and treble. Eight inputs cover daily use: mic/line euroblock inputs with 27V phantom power for paging microphones and RCA inputs for a music source. Voice-activated ducking on channels 1 and 5 lowers the music when someone speaks, and priority muting clears the other inputs for announcements. Two RJ45 ports accept JBL CSR-V wall volume controls (sold separately).

Each WET-5B pairs a 5.25" polypropylene woofer with a 1" Mylar dome tweeter in a vented ABS cabinet, with a waterproof cloth over the vent so sound gets out and water stays out. That vented design gives these IPX55-rated speakers fuller bass than a typical sealed outdoor cabinet, while the aluminum grille and stainless steel bracket resist rust. The quick-mount swivel bracket lets you slide each speaker on, tighten the knobs, and aim it toward the seating area. Tap switches let you run the patio louder and the entry quieter; keep each channel at 64W or less, for example four speakers at 15W per side.
