Eliminator American DJ EM30 30" Disco Mirror Ball For Dance Floor/Club/Bar

The EM30 is a large 30-inch glass mirror ball built for medium and large installations and event productions. Its surface is covered in 10mm x 10mm glass mirror tiles, and at that diameter the ball throws reflections onto every surface of a big room rather than just the floor below it.

Scale is the reason to choose it. In an expansive dance club, a music festival tent, a ballroom, or a large-scale install, a smaller ball produces a modest pool of reflections. A 30-inch ball covers the room and becomes a visual centerpiece in its own right, lit or unlit.

Rigging needs attention at this size. The EM30 weighs 39 lb and includes two safety hooks on top of the ball for secure hanging. A heavy-duty pro mirror ball motor is strongly recommended, along with a heavy-duty safety cable as a secondary attachment. Both are sold separately.

The effect changes with the light you put on it. A pinspot creates the tightest, most defined reflections. Colored fixtures aimed from several angles fill the room with reflected color that moves with the rotation.

Dimensions are 30.5 x 30.5 x 30.75 inches (77.5 x 77.5 x 78 cm). The mirror ball look traces back to the 1920s and became a fixture of 1970s disco clubs, and at this size it is the crown jewel of a large-scale event or install.
