The MDJ-600 is a single-deck tabletop media player that reads CDs and USB storage and doubles as a MIDI controller for DJ software. A 4.3-inch color screen shows the moving waveform along with title, time, BPM, pitch, and album art, plus visual feedback for slip mode, hot cues, and active loops, so you can see where a track is going before it gets there. The 5-inch high-resolution touch platter has adjustable resistance and three modes, vinyl, reverse play, and stutter cue, for DJs who mix by feel. Four hot cues per track jump straight to a drop or a sample, manual and BPM-based auto looping build tension or stretch a break, and loop roll adds stutter edits from a single button. Slip mode keeps the track running underneath a scratch or cue so the mix lands back in time. The 100 mm pitch fader with adjustable ranges from 4% to 100% covers fine beatmatching through heavy pitch play. File support spans MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF, with onboard search and analysis for finding tracks on a loaded USB stick. Switching to MIDI mode turns the unit into a platter controller for your DJ software, routing audio through the onboard 24-bit/192kHz soundcard with deck info shown on screen.
