Hifonics A2000.1D 2000 Watt Mono Amplifier Class D 1-ohm Car Stereo Amp

The Hifonics A2000.1D is a mono ALPHA series subwoofer amplifier rated at 2000W max power and stable down to 1 ohm. It delivers 1 x 2000W at 1 ohm, 1 x 1000W at 2 ohms, and 1 x 500W at 4 ohms, enough for a single high-excursion subwoofer or a pair wired down to a low impedance.

Super D-Class circuitry with Ultra-Fi MOSFET output devices produces that power with less heat than conventional designs, and a heavy aluminum alloy heat sink measuring 13.62in x 5.75in x 2.37in carries the rest away. End panel controls cover the low end completely: a variable low-pass from 30Hz to 250Hz, a subsonic filter from 10Hz to 50Hz, 0 to 12dB bass boost at 45Hz, and variable 0 to 180 degree phase to line subwoofer output up with the midbass speakers.

The included HFR-31 wired bass remote mounts anywhere in the cabin so subwoofer level can change with the track. Speaker-level inputs and auto turn-on allow the amplifier to run behind a factory head unit with no RCA output and no remote turn-on wire. Rated signal-to-noise is above 90dB with 10Hz to 250Hz response.

Nickel-plated hex screw terminals take 4 AWG power and ground and 14 AWG speaker wire, angled for access after mounting, and LED diagnostics report overload and speaker short conditions. Surface-mount construction handles shock and vibration, which matters for a trunk-mounted amplifier that lives with road input every day.
