The Hifonics HCC35CX is a pair of 3.5-inch two-way coaxial speakers from the COLOSSUS Classic line, sized for factory dash and pillar locations that most speaker upgrades cannot fill. Each speaker handles 25W RMS and 50W peak, and 88dB sensitivity means a factory head unit or a modest amplifier brings them up to volume.

A 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter sits at the center of the cone and extends the top end with output that stays natural rather than harsh. Below it, a lightweight blue woven fiber cone responds quickly through the midrange, and a butyl rubber surround adds mid-bass weight while standing up to heat and time. A passive Butterworth crossover set at 6kHz with a 12dB slope hands off between the two elements without a step in the response.

The motor uses a ferrite magnet compact enough for shallow factory pockets, a pure copper voice coil on a Kapton former that sheds heat, and an epoxy-infused natural fiber spider that keeps the cone centered under power. An anti-resonant stamped steel basket holds the assembly rigid so the frame does not add ringing of its own.

Mounting takes a 3.41in cut-out with 1.5in of depth, and no grilles are supplied because these speakers typically install behind an OEM panel. Frequency response runs 80Hz to 20kHz, and the pair weighs 2 lb. They fit trucks, sedans, and older vehicles where 3.5-inch dash locations still carry the front stage.
