The Hifonics HCM-800.4D is a COLOSSUS MINI four-channel amplifier that delivers 800W from a chassis measuring 10.5in x 5.28in x 2.72in. It suits motorcycles, UTVs, and vehicles where a full set of speakers needs real power but there is no room for a full-size amplifier.

Power ratings are 4 x 100W at 4 ohms, 4 x 200W at 2 ohms, and 2 x 400W bridged at 4 ohms, so it can run four speakers, or two speakers plus a bridged subwoofer channel. A full range Class-D chipset works with a wide range of drivers, including the high-efficiency pro-style speakers common on open vehicles.

A mass-loaded extruded aluminum heat sink handles cooling with no fan, which removes the part most likely to fail in dust and moisture. Tuning covers a variable high-pass from 15Hz to 1kHz and a variable low-pass from 30Hz to 250Hz, with built-in bass control and input sensitivity from 0.2V to 5V. Speaker-level inputs connect directly to a factory or powersports source unit. Rated performance is better than 85dB signal-to-noise, under 0.5% THD, and 10Hz to 25kHz response.

Triple protection circuits watch voltage, short circuit, and thermal conditions, and delayed turn-on keeps hisses and pops out of the speakers. Connections take 4 AWG power and ground and 12 AWG speaker wire behind an 80A external fuse, on molded angled terminals that keep wiring tidy in a small space.
