ZD-1750.5D 1750W 5-Channel Class D Amplifier

The Hifonics Zeus Delta ZD-1750.5D is a five-channel Class D amplifier that powers four speaker channels and a dedicated subwoofer channel from a single unit, useful for anyone who wants a full system upgrade without stacking multiple amplifiers. It pushes 1750 watts total, with the four main channels putting out 100 watts each at 4 ohms or 225 watts each at 2 ohms, while the fifth channel handles the subwoofer alone at up to 850 watts at 1 ohm. The four main channels can also bridge to two channels at 450 watts each if the install calls for two higher-power channels instead of four smaller ones. An onboard electronic crossover with high and low pass filters adjustable from 50Hz to 250Hz shapes the speaker channels, while a subsonic filter from 15Hz to 40Hz and up to 12dB of bass boost, adjustable from the included remote, tune the dedicated subwoofer channel. A PWM MOSFET power supply keeps current steady across all five channels under load, and DC signal sense lets the amp turn on from the incoming RCA signal without a separate remote turn-on wire. An aluminum heat sink manages the heat generated by running this many channels from one chassis.
