CMP-159

The Hosa CMP-159 sends audio from a 3.5mm stereo output into two separate 1/4 in unbalanced inputs. The single mini TRS plug splits into left and right TS plugs, so a laptop, phone, tablet, or portable media player can feed two channels on a mixing console, powered speaker, or audio interface. At 10 ft, the run reaches from a DJ booth or podium to a rack without a coupler or extension.

Nickel-plated plugs hold up to repeated patching and keep contact resistance low. Oxygen-Free Copper conductors carry the signal with less loss across the full length, and OFC spiral shields reject EMI and RFI from lighting rigs and power cables while keeping the jacket flexible enough to coil into a gig bag.

Common setups include playing backing tracks from a laptop into a live mixer, feeding a phone into a PA for a class or wedding, patching a media player into a conference room system, or running a computer output into two channels of an interface for recording. The stereo-to-dual-mono layout keeps left and right independent, so each side can be leveled, panned, and processed on its own instead of arriving as one summed feed.
