Product Description

The Hosa PXM-105 connects gear with an unbalanced 1/4 in phone output to gear with an XLR input across 5 ft. It handles the common mismatch between an amp, keyboard, mixer, or effects unit and a console, snake, or stage box that only accepts XLR. For best results, match the high output impedance to the low input impedance on the receiving end.

Five feet adds enough reach for gear that is near but not adjacent: a combo amp to a stage box at your feet, a mixer output to a snake at the edge of the platform, a keyboard rig to a DI panel, or a rack unit to a console input a few feet over. Still short enough to keep the unbalanced portion of the path from collecting hum.

Nickel-plated plugs resist corrosion and stand up to repeated patching, keeping contact resistance low. An Oxygen-Free Copper conductor holds loss down, and an OFC spiral shield rejects EMI and RFI from power supplies and lighting while keeping the cable flexible enough to route along a stage edge or through a rack.
