The JBL 104SET-BT is a pair of compact powered studio reference monitors built for accurate playback in tight workspaces. A proprietary coaxial driver pairs a 4.5 in (118 mm) woofer with a 0.75 in (19 mm) soft-dome tweeter on a single axis, so the sweet spot stays wide and your mix still holds up when you shift in your chair. A built-in 60 W Class D amplifier sends 30 W to each speaker, covering 88 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB) with momentary peaks up to 104 dB SPL.

Connections cover almost any source. Three sets of inputs handle 1/4 in TRS balanced from an audio interface, RCA from a console or turntable, and 1/8 in aux from a phone or laptop. Bluetooth 5.0 streaming lets you check a reference mix from a phone without repatching cables. A front-panel selector switches between Bluetooth, Aux, RCA, TRS, or all inputs at once, and the front volume knob and 1/8 in headphone jack with automatic speaker mute keep quick adjustments within reach.

The amplifier and controls live in one cabinet, so the second monitor connects with a single supplied speaker wire and no second outlet. Each molded ABS cabinet measures 9.72 x 6.02 x 4.88 in, with a contoured low-frequency port and a metal grille, and is acoustically tuned for desktop placement.
