CSS8008 2-Pack

Two JBL CSS8008 ceiling speakers step up to an 8 inch dual-cone driver for restaurants, retail stores, or cafes that need more bass presence than a compact 4 inch model provides, while keeping the same easy-tap wiring as the rest of JBL's Commercial Series. Each speaker reaches a 96 dB sensitivity rating, so background music and paging cut through kitchen noise or a busy dining room without pushing the amplifier hard. A 120 degree coverage pattern focuses sound more directly than a 4 inch speaker's wider spread, which suits taller ceilings or rooms where the sound needs to reach further into the space. The built-in transformer switches between 70V, 100V, and 25V taps at up to 5W, so the pair matches into an existing multi-zone amplifier without rewiring. Bare-wire connections keep the install simple, and the 12.9 inch grille sits flush against a standard ceiling tile. Because the CSS8008 shares its wiring and tap structure with the smaller CSS8004, a business can mix both models across different rooms and run them off the same 70V amplifier zone, sending more bass-forward sound to the dining floor and lighter coverage to a hallway or restroom.
