The JBL AWC129 gives a single installation point full-range, weather-resistant sound in an all-weather cabinet rated IP56, built to withstand rain, salt air, and temperature swings without a loss in performance. A 12-inch Kevlar-reinforced woofer pairs with a 1-inch compression driver in a two-way coaxial design, delivering a 90-degree by 90-degree broadband pattern and a 55 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response that covers both speech and music clearly. With 400 watts of power handling, the AWC129 produces the high SPL output that sports facilities, racetracks, stadiums, water parks, and similar large outdoor venues require.

A 70V/100V multi-tap transformer with direct 8-ohm operation gives installers flexibility to run the speaker on a distributed 70-volt system or a standalone 8-ohm amplifier, and an included U-bracket makes surface mounting straightforward without sourcing separate hardware. Corrosion-resistant grille materials and a sealed input terminal further support long-term outdoor use, meeting Mil Spec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure. Available in gray or black, the AWC129 works equally well as a single background music point for a patio or as one node in a larger distributed system covering a stadium concourse, cruise ship deck, or themed attraction.
