The AWC82-BK is a 2-way coaxial loudspeaker built for venues that need more output than the smaller AWC62 while keeping the same weatherproof, surface-mount design. An 8 inch Kevlar-reinforced woofer pairs with a 1 inch compression driver to cover 80 Hz to 20 kHz, with 250 W peak handling and SonicGuard overload protection for the high-frequency driver. An IP56 rating and corrosion-resistant, zinc-rich grille let it stand up to rain, salt air, and direct sun over years of outdoor use, while gland-nut terminal seals keep the wiring compartment dry. A 200 W 70V/100V multi-tap transformer or direct 8 ohm operation lets it join an existing distributed-audio line or run on a standalone amplifier. Consistent 120 degree by 120 degree pattern control spreads sound evenly across larger areas, reducing the number of speakers a venue needs. The included black U-bracket mounts to walls, poles, or trusses, and the enclosure exceeds Mil Spec 810 for humidity, temperature, and salt spray.
