CBT 1000 [Open Box]

The CBT 1000 is a line array column speaker built to map its coverage pattern to a room's actual geometry instead of relying on a single fixed dispersion. Constant Beamwidth Technology drives twenty-four 1 inch tweeters and six 6.5 inch woofers arranged coaxially, holding directivity steady from low frequencies through the highest highs so sound doesn't narrow or lobe unpredictably at a distance. Vertical coverage is adjustable across four pattern-up and four pattern-down settings, for sixteen total combinations, all set mechanically without external DSP. A patent-pending tapered horizontal waveguide widens dispersion for short-throw listening near the front of a room and narrows it for long-throw coverage toward the back, so a single column can cover both zones at consistent volume. Power handling reaches 1500 W peak with output down to 40 Hz, and switchable voicing toggles between a flat music response and a speech-forward midrange lift. The included two-part swivel and tilt wall bracket allows plus or minus 45 degrees of left-right aim and 15 degrees of tilt, with fourteen threaded mounting points on the cabinet for suspension or third-party bracket compatibility. It works well in auditoriums, houses of worship, and large conference rooms where one well-aimed column can replace several smaller speakers.
