JBL-COL600-BK

The COL600 is a 24" slim column speaker made for rooms where clear speech and background music matter but a bulky box would look out of place: conference rooms, lecture halls, retail floors, transit concourses, and audio for video. Two 5 x 2.25" racetrack woofers and a 1" tweeter cover 70 Hz to 20 kHz, and the tweeter sits at the top of the column, angled down, so sound reaches listeners without getting blocked. A built-in 10° down-tilt lets you mount the cabinet flat against the wall and still aim coverage at the audience, while a wide 160° horizontal pattern spreads sound across the room from a single position.

At just 3.7" deep, the cabinet qualifies for ADA projects when installed flush to the wall. A 20W multi-tap transformer runs on 70V or 100V distributed lines with 20W, 10W, and 5W taps (plus 2.5W at 70V), or you can switch to 8 ohm direct operation with 80W continuous pink noise handling and 320W peak. Two L-brackets attach to the top and bottom or to the sides, and the included low-profile swivel/tilt wall bracket adds up to 95° of pan in either direction plus another 10° of down-tilt. An IP54 rating, water-treated woofers and tweeter, a UV-resistant enclosure, and a rain cover for the input terminals let it hold up in concourses, transit stations, and other public spaces exposed to dust and splashing water.
